We're seeking a Salesforce DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team at Codex Studios. In this role, you'll design, develop, and support Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and other platforms. You'll lead improvements in Salesforce DevOps processes, including source control, CI/CD, release management, and deployment automation. You'll manage deployments with Gearset, handle validation, promotion, rollback planning, and release coordination, while maintaining GitHub-based development workflows. This includes branching strategies, pull requests, code reviews, and maintaining GitHub Actions pipelines for Salesforce deployments and testing. You'll collaborate closely with Salesforce developers, administrators, QA, and business teams to facilitate stable releases, support environment management across various sandboxes, troubleshoot deployment issues, and contribute to technical standards and best practices for Salesforce DevOps. This role offers the opportunity to work in an AWS environment, applying serverless-first infrastructure patterns. You'll lead improvements in Salesforce DevOps processes, including source control, CI/CD, release management, and deployment automation.

Responsibilities

  • Manage deployments with Gearset, handle validation, promotion, rollback planning, and release coordination.
  • Maintain GitHub-based development workflows, including branching strategies, pull requests, and code reviews.
  • Build and maintain GitHub Actions pipelines for Salesforce deployments and testing.
  • Collaborate with Salesforce developers, administrators, QA, and business teams to ensure stable and reliable releases.
  • Support environment management across sandboxes, staging, and production.
  • Troubleshoot deployment issues and contribute to technical standards and best practices for Salesforce DevOps.

What You Bring

  • Significant experience as a Salesforce Developer with strong knowledge of the platform.
  • Experience with Salesforce DevOps and release management.
  • Hands-on experience with Gearset for Salesforce deployments.
  • Strong experience using GitHub for source control and workflow automation with GitHub Actions.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with technical and business stakeholders.
